Ayodhya
Ayodhya, also known as Oudh, is a town in Uttar Pradesh state, northern India, with a population of 49,417 as of 2001. It is situated on the banks of the Ghaghara River, just east of Faizabad, and is now considered a suburb of Faizabad. In ancient times, Ayodhya was one of India’s most prominent cities and served as the capital of Kosala, as depicted in the epic Ramayana. Today, it is revered as one of the seven holy cities of Hinduis.

• Hanuman Garhi: 10th-century temple dedicated to monkey god Hanuman, offering panoramic Ayodhya views.
• Ram Janmabhoomi: The birthplace of Lord Ram, revered for its architectural splendor and significance.
• Nageshwarnath Temple: Built by Kush, son of Rama, dedicated to Lord Shiva, believed to aid Rama in recognizing his sons.

•Kanak Bhavan: The exquisite architecture of Kanak Bhavan, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Sita, is marvellous and full of beautiful idols and intricate carvings. It is also known as Sone-ka-Ghar or the House of Gold.
• Gupta Ghar: This ghat, which now goes by the name Gupta Ghat Van, was once located next to the colonial Company Gardens and had a flight of steps leading to the holy river.
