  • Morning:
    Arrival at Chitrakoot: Check-in to your hotel
    and freshen up.
  • Ramghat: Begin your trip with a visit to
    Ramghat on the Mandakini River. This is
    where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana are
    believed to have taken baths during their
    exile.
  • Afternoon:
    Kamadgiri Parikrama: Take a
    circumambulation of the Kamadgiri hill,
    which is considered sacred. The path is
    about 5 km long and is filled with numerous
    small temples.
  • Evening:
    Aarti at Ramghat: Attend the evening aarti
    on the banks of the Mandakini River, a
    mesmerizing experience with the river lit up
    by countless lamps.
    Night:
    Return to Hotel: Dinner and overnight stay at
    the hotel
  • Morning: Bharat Milap Temple: Visit this temple
    commemorating the place where Bharat
    met Lord Rama to persuade him to return
    to Ayodhya.
  • Hanuman Dhara: A steep climb leads to
    this temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman,
    offering a great view of Chitrakoot.
  • Afternoon:
    Gupt Godavari: Explore these caves with
    narrow pathways and water streams,
    believed to be the hiding place of the Lord
    Rama and Lakshmana.
  • Sphatik Shila: A picturesque spot on the
    banks of the Mandakini River, where it’s
    believed that Sita was enchanted by a deer.
    Evening:
  • Sati Anusuya Ashram: Visit this serene
    ashram, located in a dense forest, which is
    associated with the story of Anusuya and
    her husband, Atri Muni.
  • Night:
    Return to Hotel: Dinner and overnight stay

    Janaki Kund: Visit this beautiful spot
    on the banks of the Mandakini River
    where Sita used to bathe.
    Panchavati: Explore the cluster of five
    ancient Banyan trees, which are

    around 40 km from the town.

    to Lord Shiva, located in a serene
    environment.
